A great resource for learning English.

After a loggin in as a new user, you will be asked to Select a level to start the learning game which is very well designed and very very user friendly.

There are 5 levels to choose from

  • E - Elementary
  • LI - Lower Intermediate
  • I - Intermediate
  • UI - Upper Intermediate
  • A - Advanced

Dictionary

If you hold down the CTRL key and click on any word in an exercise, you will be linked to an online dictionary to look up that word.
 
Hints
In some exercises you can get a hint by holding down the CTRL key when you click on an answer or a gap.
 
Scratch Pad
This is a mini-notepad that will be saved for you between uses. You can type in it or cut and paste things. You can print it out or email (if this is setup on your webserver) it to someone. So long as you use the same login details each time you use Author Plus, it will remember everything that you type.
   
Progress
So long as you use the same login details each time you use Author Plus, it will remember all your scores. You can get a list of all your scores by clicking the progress button. The menus also show you how much of a unit you have done with the little pie-chart in the corner of each menu.
